Project Concept: Art In The Terminal
OVERVIEW / CLIENT BRIEF
Apply a low-relief artwork to the selected walls within the light-filled atrium. The project will provide a new focal point for visitors, passengers, and employees. Goals include:
+ Enhance gathering places for airport customers.
+ Complement the established visual identity of the airport.
+ Generate community pride while inspiring joy and wonder.
+ Endure multiple visits to the Airport
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Create a dialogue with the design, modern grandeur, celebration of air travel. Enhance the environment and provide a focal point for passengers passing from security into the terminals. MATERIAL POSSIBILITIES
The artwork could be "mosaic" inspired combining tile, wood, plastic, fabric, EPS foam or other materials to create depth and shadows while allowing a variety of tactile, interesting surface textures
Project Concept: Exhibit In Concourse Gallery
OVERVIEW / CLIENT BRIEF
Integrate an "art gallery" feel to a newly remodeled space off the concourse near the food court. Create entertainment and engagement within the space for passengers during layovers.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
The curators of the space are interested in a series of low-relief, highly chromatic wall pieces. In response, Cielo proposes mixed media reliefs on colorful backgrounds with shapes inspired by Nordic runes. Pieces will be hung in traditional gallery style and, as needed, track lighting consistent with decor standards of the gallery will be introduced. [CLICK ON THE IMAGES ABOVE FOR ENLARGED MODEL VIEWS]
MATERIAL POSSIBILITIES
Art on cradled panels for durability and stability. Developed with combination of acrylic paints layered with textiles and wood remnants adhered permanently to panel surfaces.

In founding Cielo Projects, creative director Bradley Reyes merges his love of travel and exploring airports with his 24 year visual arts career including 17 years working as a scenic sculptor building movie sets for feature films.His favorite vantage point? The view from the window seat en route to his next destination. OVERVIEW / CLIENT BRIEF
Integrate an "art gallery" feel to a newly remodeled premium airport lounge. Create points of interest within the space that engage the lounge patrons during layovers.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Create artwork to reflect the aesthetic of the interior design. This lounge is interested in a series of low-relief, highly chromatic wall pieces inspired by runes but with a contemporary and fresh sensibility.
